Images
It’s important to tag images correctly, for accessibility (a legal requirement) , and also for Google.
When uploading or adding a new image anywhere on the site, it’s important to add the title tag and the alt text. There are fields for both, every time you upload an image, or edit it on the screen.
Title is the wording that you see when you hover your mouse over the image, for eg “Our Summer Holiday tennis classes“. Alt is what the screen reader will “say” if someone with visual impairment is browsing the website, so they know what’s there, for eg “3 people playing tennis“.
*Title and Alt can often be the same.
