Tony Rice has been making ceramics, sculptures, kites and paintings for over 45 years. He graduated from QCA with a ceramics major. From very early on, he has found inspiration in the traditions of Japan and this has extended throughout his career.
Tony is a member of the Australian Kite Flyers Society and has become a major influence among Australian kite artists for his use of traditional techniques and materials. He has won international acclaim for imaginative kites and has been a guest of honour and featured artist in many kite flying competitions worldwide.
