Tanya is multi-talented and has diverse experience as a community art facilitator, art therapist, arts manager, mosaic and henna artist and stilt walking performer.

Tanya has been working creatively in Australia, England, Germany, Vietnam, Mexico and Mongolia for over 14 years. She has a Masters in Creative Arts Therapies, Graduate Diploma in Expressive Therapies and a Bachelor of Business Management.

As an Art Therapist and Community Artist Tanya predominantly works with young people. She currently facilitates an arts program every weekend at the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre with juvenile offenders.

Last year she ran a Creative Arts Therapy (visual arts and dance / movement) project in Mexico and in 2005 spent 1 year managing a Community and Cultural Development project in Mongolia.

Tanya also managed Spaghetti Circus in Northern NSW for 5 years attracting  over $400,000 in funding and produced their first international tour to the UK and Europe.

Tanya is also the Creative Director of Raspberry Carousel a stilt walking costume design and performance company based in Brisbane. She has performed at many festivals and events including; The Royal Easter Show, Woodford Folk Festival, Falls Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Byron Bay Blues Fest, National Circus Festival to name just a few!

Tanya has worked with many performance companies including Manoeuvre Stilt Entertainment, Homunculus Theatre, Phoenix Entertainment, Sacred Circus, Spaghetti Circus, Electric Dollhouse, The Space Cowboy, Entertainment Emporium, Roundabout Theatre and Circus Oz.
