Hands on Art has partnered with CBRE Property to bring creativity and art making to the corporate world. This is a campaign to activate office lobby spaces on Fridays during June 2021 and provide something interesting and different for workers. Several artists have been matched to buildings around Brisbane CBD for a series of art making events. Each artist will work on a piece over a series of sessions. These works will then be auctioned or raffled and proceeds donated to charity.
Not just workshops, these events are about bringing artists’ practice to public spaces with aim of sharing and connecting with people. The hope is that these events will spark creativity and curiosity for people, in what would normally be an ordinary work day at the office.
