I am a largely self taught artist, drawing, painting, and taking photos, since a young girl. I attended The Bremer Institute of T.A.F.E to do a certificate in art, and I continue to regularly take courses on anything creative that interest me.

I enjoy working with the natural environment using drift wood and found inflorescence pods from palm trees and turning them into mostly useful forms such as baskets, nests and light shades. I collect fallen leaves to do Eco dyeing to make printed silk fabrics. I dye paper too and use them to make card.

I also work as a mosaic artist and have created quite large mosaics (2×3 metres) and (also painted) murals for Youth and Family Services in Logan using broken china, glass tesserae as well as creating clay animals for the mosaic wall, and worked with the kids at Ithaca Creek State School creating a 3 metre mosaic and painted wall in a sea theme.

Currently I divide my time between, art workshops (my oldest client is 99.8 years and youngest is 6 years old!) teaching, watercolour, mosaics, drawings, basket weaving, print making and photography amongst many other arts and crafts as I love the alchemy of creating and how it all works.

The rest of my time is doing my commission work mainly creating portraits in my whimsical part fantasy, part realism style and my Scribble dogs (I do other animals too!) I also can be seen out and about the hidden Brisbane spots doing En Plein air paintings which I enjoy.
