Community groups from throughout Queensland can run their own lantern making workshops with the help of our starter lantern packs and instructions!
Hands on Art has designed an easy to make lighthouse that can put together and decorated by children of all ages. This winter, our lighthouse lanterns are going to be state-wide, as community groups and kindys create lighthouse lanterns in the lead up to Child Protection Week as we remember the importance of child protection awareness.
Child Protection Week is recognised nationally from 5 – 11 September 2021
Lantern packs are free, register for a pack of 30 to be sent to your community group by completing the form below. Lantern packs will be posted in the weeks leading up to Child Protection Week 5-11 September 2021
We have very limited numbers of packs to send out and will run out so be quick!
Everything you need to run your own lighthouse lantern making workshop is here for anyone to follow.
Download and print the lantern template and instructions, gather up a few easy to find materials and follow our video.
