Mitchelton Special School Sign Workshop

Hands on Art was asked to design signs for the Mitchelton Special School. A day of drawing workshops with the students, based on letters and textures, supplied the raw materials to make the sign. The students who range in age and ability all have a sense of ownership of their new school sign.

Glindemann Park Mosaics

The Art Sports event at Einbunpin started with workshops in making and juggling balls and finished with a fun juggling competition.

Einbunpin Festival 2010

Our new Einbunpin creature cutouts were a big hit. People were photographed as Bunpins, Minghee Whingees, and the Mooniewoon tree. Hands on Art also presented the Mullet Tossing, Fish Boat Races, Magic Art Carpet competition and the first Art Sports Community Juggle Off. See you in Sandgate, on the last Sunday in July next year.

The Very Long Story

Four to twelve year olds became illustrators for the day at our Brisbane Library holiday workshops. Jeff’s story called ‘The Egg That Counted Backwards’ inspired our junior illustrators to come up with some magic stuff. The very long book will be displayed at the Library.
